The Verdugo-Glen Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) has been in existence for 50 years. Since the organization relies entirely on volunteers, that is no small feat. Our Chapter includes a great team of women whose vast expertise will help us achieve the goals we have set for this year.
These goals include retaining and engaging our members, developing and providing opportunities for them, improving our marketing to better reach the public, attract new members and raising funds for scholarships and professional development.
I am the Founder and President of a national nonprofit organization called the Renal Support Network (RSN), which helps people with kidney disease. RSN is nationally known and has a number of programs that I created, raised funds for, and implemented. I will draw on my experience with organizational infrastructure, marketing, and management to make the Verdugo-Glen Chapter as effective as possible.
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of our members and putting our talents and gifts to work to help ABWA and our Chapter accomplish these goals.
